visit philadelphia - ‘anything but silent’
Come for the History, Stay for the Hype
Allen & Gerritsen partnered with us to produce a cinematic campaign spot for Visit Philadelphia — created to build momentum for America’s 250th birthday in 2026. With Philly set to host a wave of historic and cultural milestones — from major sporting events to citywide celebrations — we set out to capture the energy of a city that’s always been at the heart of the nation’s story.
Titled “Anything but Silent”, the spot blends our newly captured footage with an expansive library of existing material, all cut into a fast-paced, high-energy film designed to inspire both visitors and locals. One of our biggest production challenges (and proudest moments) was recreating Thomas Jefferson’s workspace while drafting the Declaration of Independence — alongside building two museum-like environments — all staged inside a single small historic home.
Director Nic Reader led the shoot and was in close collaboration with our editor and motion designer Daniel Haddaway, whose intricate transitions and dynamic pacing gave the campaign its unmistakable rhythm. The goal was to strike a balance between reverence and energy — making the history feel authentic and weighty while keeping the overall edit moving like a modern hype reel. Philadelphia’s story is inspiring, and we focused on making audiences feel that in every cut.
